Last Song is a sonic project of place(s) changed by infrastructure, demolition, unbuilding and redirection. Traveling along The Don River Watershed from Eglinton to its base where it feeds into Lake Ontario we collected litter and objects left behind, reading rhythm in lost items and reflecting on its histories. Can you describe a place, its history and beauty in sound?
This performance features a handmade collection sac, a glass of water, a clarinet, tent pegs, a record player, a styrofoam container, scrap metal, a plug and an eyeglass lens.
